Middle School pupils enjoy the facilities of the Senior School, laboratories, gymnasium, a drama studio, a music room and two art studios in addition to a computer suite. Classes are small, with two forms in each year group, set for some subjects. Gifted and talented pupils are identified early and their needs are met through appropriate challenges. Pupils needing extra support are given help in small tutorial groups from appropriately qualified staff. All staff are well qualified and totally dedicated to the needs of the pupils. All pupils follow a wide, common curriculum. Homework
is an essential element in the curriculum and the support of parents
is sought to ensure pupils acquire the self-discipline necessary to
develop the habit of working independently. |
Pupils are expected to adhere to a strict uniform code and to behave sensibly and courteously at all times. While academic excellence is pursued, pupils enjoy a full range of sporting activities, together with debating, music, drama, dance as part of the curriculum and as extra-curricular activities.
